The hugely successful South Korean 2016 zombie thriller movie “Train to Busan” is getting a US remake and people are not happy with it. There have been previous attempts to remake other Korean movies such as Oldboy which was not received well by both critics and the public. So, people are not thrilled with this latest news to remake the movie which many considers as one of the best Zombie movies.
It has been reported that Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto is in talks to direct the US version of the movie. He is popular for making movies such as Headshot and The night comes for us.
Train to Busan which was directed by Yeon Sang-ho followed passengers of the high-speed train during a zombie outbreak. It shows how people come together to survive this outbreak. This movie was the highest-grossing movie in South Korea when it got released. It is also the 14th most successful South Korean movie of all time.

Train to Busan is based on Korean things like culture, history, and class warfare. If the US wants to make a Zombie movie set on a train, why not make their own.
