Killing Eve is a British black comedy-drama spy thriller television series which is a brainchild of Fleabag famed writer and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The show was produced for BBC America and BBC iPlayer. The series follows a smart British intelligence investigator officer named Eve Polastri played by Sandra Oh who was living a normal married life with her husband until she was tasked to get psychopathic assassin Villanelle played by Jodie Comer. As the show progressed they developed a mutual obsession along with the audience. This amazing show was based on the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings. The first series premiered on BBC America on 8 April 2018. The show has been both critically as well as publically acclaimed in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The show has also won multiple awards for its amazing writing as well as for the performance of the main lead of the show.
